Building-02

Then

The Irvin Hotel for Women was named for Mary M. Irvin, president of the organization that lead to the commission of the building specifically as a Hotel “where self-supporting girls and women with small incomes could be accommodated comfortably and well at little cost.” (New York Times, Feb. 21, 1916 p.11).

Now

Today, almost 100 years later The Irvin is being thoughtfully and fully restored and reintroduced as The Irvin Condominium. The Facade and many of the original floor plans will remain true to their history, while the interiors and building amenities will be reengineered to reflect the modern conveniences and technology of today. It is with great enthusiasm to offer in keeping with the origin of this historical building an affordable alternative to reside in one of New York City’s most energetic and vibrant neighborhoods.
